Testing new leg @ OWC

One leg pressin'.

Finally got a chance to test out the new leg I've been working on with Cornerstone. Even in its first draft, the leg is working great. Still needs a few adjustments, but overall I'm stoked on it.

Skyy Robins

Dogs aren't just pets they're part of the family, and on last Sunday we lost one of our family members way too soon. Our babygirl was a energetic minpin, with a personality like no other. A daddy's girl from the start, she would follow me around like a shadow. From backpack rides while on my street bike to camping trips to eastern washington, she was just happy to be along the side of the ones she loved. She was such a trooper: skyy survived a gnarly pitbull attack, was lost for days in the woods after my accident left me in the ICU, and was able to get through almost anything. While camping in OR with her grandma (my mom) her brave heart got the best of her.  Jumping from the top bunk of the camper, she knocker her head on the way down. My mom and those with her tried cpr and anything they could do to save our little one, but her time had come. She will be missed beyond words and we'll love you forever skyy. I know you're in doggy heaven and I'll see you soon.

New leg coming soon....

http://www.cornerstonepo.com/

Had some great appointments with my prosthetist (Bryan Roehr) the last couple weeks while in WA. Me and Bryan are working on building a new board sports leg, that is able to keep up with me and my active lifestyle. Hoping its going to be what I have envisioned and am able to progress even further.

Also while I was in washington, so was the DEFY crew. Got to hang out and watch the guys ride on the system 2.0 pool set up, finishing up the last portion of the film at Radar Lake.

Blue Lake// Fox Shoot

Recently, I was fortunate enough to witness the Defy crew filming the Fox Team shoot, for the Danny Harf movie. Every time I see these guys throw down, the anticipation for this film gets bigger and bigger.  With a broken foot and torn up ankle, I've been working on making my amateur photography debut. Not a bad shot for a beginner, hopefully more to come.

walk it off...

While riding a bit ago, I broke my foot along with a severe ankle sprain. I've been on the mend, with it being my one and only foot gotta take every precaution to get it back to 100%.  Not easy staying off it, especially living in the Sunshine state. In the mean time, Im thinking about putting my photo skills in action, and at least getting to watch the best riders in the world do their thing.

"King of Wake" PWT Monroe,WA

After a 15 year wait, the Pro Wake Tour made its way back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The weather was as good as it gets (80 and sunny) and the riders were throwning down! Such a great event with an awesome turn out. Congrats to Phillip Soven for taking win. Solid weekend, and here's  to hoping that the Evergreen state doesn't have to wait another fifteen years for the tour to make its next appearance.

 Check here for more info.

New

Last year when I was riding my prosthetic was feeling a bit sloppy in my ski boot. So this year me and and prosthetic guy came up with an artificial calf. We made a cast of my left leg and inverted it so it was a prefect match. This is just the first draft, but i'm feeling pretty damn good about it!

GoPro Debut

Finally got a GoPro cam to record my trips up to the mountain, and forgot to charge it. After 3 seconds it was donezo lol Get ready my friends, ski vids coming soon!
